If you've always dreamed of learning an instrument, your local brass band is the perfect place to start, as we are at the grassroots of music in your community. Our groups offer an affordable way to learn - we provide the instruments. Our groups are friendly and inclusive and aim to foster a sense of community and friendship. No matter your age, if you want to learn, this is a place for you.

Our beginners group is the perfect place to start your journey. All are welcome, from absolute beginners to intermediate players. We meet at the band hut in Kirkby Stephen on Friday evenings 6-8pm. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat at break time.
