On June 21st 2025, KSSB will take part in a 24-hour playathon. Helped by friends and supporters, we aim to keep the sounds going for a full 24 hours, no matter what. We can't promise the sounds will always be pretty, but we WILL keep it going in one form or another. From small ensembles to solos, improvisations, to workshops where you can help us by joining in, it's sure to be a spectacular effort. There will also be a live stream on our Facebook page and an online quiz which will run across the whole 24 hours. Why not greet the summer solstice with our special early morning 'brass sound bath' ritual with a very special guest? And it's all in aid of raising funds to make our band hut accessible.
