Kirkby Stephen Silver Band is proud to be a friendly, inclusive community band, and we believe that music should be open to everyone. Whatever your age, background, identity, ability or experience, you are welcome here. Whether you’ve been playing for years, are returning to an instrument after a long break, or have never played a brass instrument before, we want you to feel comfortable, respected and valued as part of our band community.

We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, and where discrimination, harassment or exclusion have no place. We meet at the band hut in Kirkby Stephen on Mondays at 7.30-9.30 pm. 

Membership fee is £10 a month.
